Life Drawing
My university offered student-led life drawing sessions once a week, and it was here that I first tried this experience. Although I’ve always preferred environmental design, which can be seen in most of my work, I saw this as a new opportunity to practice drawing the human form and perfecting proportions, both of which are skills that have come in handy when modelling and designing characters in later projects. The work below was done during my second year at university. Some of the work was completed within the life drawing sessions offered, however, many were completed in my free time. Personally, I really liked creating these drawing, it was a nice opportunity to do more traditional art, and it allowed me to practice working on proportions.
